Organize your phone for a simpler life

Ever find yourself scrolling through home pages on your cell phone to find just the app you want to use at the moment?

Here’s a screenshot from my older phone, a Samsung Note 3. You can see the folders on the screen that I’ve filled with apps which have a similar function.

It’s a regular thing for me sometimes. But I’m trying a better way. I’m using the folders feature on my Android phone.

For this older phone, I had to go into the applications and create a new folder first and then add the folder to the screen where I wanted it. But on newer phones, their process is a little different. On most of those, you just drag one application icon on top of another and it will automatically create a folder. You can then drag other app icons on top of that folder to add some more apps to the folder.

You may need to search Google for how to create a folder on your Android phone screen for your particular phone or model, as there are many different possibilities. But this is a good way to organize your phone screens, just like it is a good way to organize your files on your computer.

Happy organizing!
